Position(Situation) and expansion
The castle park iron mountain is on the edge of the historical Old Town of the ostthüringischen city(town) iron mountain.
Parek is connected inseparably with the ensemble of the castle arrangement Christian castle. Are stamping here the baroque appearance of the castle(lock) and the admirably equipped castle church connecting to it.
The historical arrangement(enclosure) enclosed approx. 3.6 ha, of it approx. 2.3 ha which present themselves nowadays as a garden have been left.
Presently the castle(lock) serves as a District Office.
The castle park iron mountain stands as a historical garden under conservation of monuments and historic buildings and is put down on the monument list of the free state Thuringia.

Monument

The scenery is incorporated by different view relations and views and the park is extended optically.
In spite of some interferences(encroachments) and losses the Eisenberger castle garden shows a prominent monument of the garden art in Thuringia which must be maintained preserved, and be regenerated.
